Our society nowadays

 कितना अजीब है ना हमारा समाज एक तरफ कहते हैं लड़का लड़की एक है लेकिन यह कहां तक सच है सिर्फ संविधान के उन चार पन्नौ तक।

How strange is it, our society says on one side, boy and girl are one, but to what extent is this true only till those four pages of the constitution.

मुझे आज भी याद है जब मैं थोड़ी बड़ी हो गई पापा ने कहा रात में बाहर नहीं खेलना क्योंकि कुछ लड़के जाते हुए घूरेंगे,कितनी अजीब बात है नियत उनकी खराब होती है और कैद हमें होना पड़ता है।

I still remember when I got a little older, Papa said, "Don't play outside at night because some boys will stare as they go, how strange they are destined and they have to be imprisoned."

क्यों हमारा समाज हमेशा लड़कियों को ही बोलता है कि यह करो ,वों करो,हमेशा यह बोलना सही से खाओ ,सही से बैठो तुम्हें दूसरे घर जाना है कभी लड़कों से क्यों नहीं बोलते उन्हें भी तो दूसरे घर से लड़की लानी है।

Why our society always says to girls that do this, do it, always eat it properly, sit right, you have to go to another house, why don't you ever speak to boys, they also have to bring a girl from another house.

कितना अजीब है ना हमारा सामाज जिस्म मेरा कपड़े उनके हिसाब से, जीवन मेरा जीवन साथी उनके हिसाब का।

How strange is our society, body is mine, clothes according to them, life is mine, life partner belongs to them.

हंसी तो इस बात पर आती है पुरुष तो पुरुष, महिलाएं भी लड़कियों को आगे बढ़ने नहीं देती। वह अगर घर में लड़की हुई तो कहती हैं चल अब कोई नहीं आगे लड़का होगा कभी यह आशीर्वाद क्यों नहीं देती कि आगे एक प्यारी सी लड़की होगी।

Laughter comes at this point, men are men, women also do not allow girls to move forward. If a girl was born in the house, she says, "Come on now, no one will be a boy, why doesn't he ever bless that there will be a lovely girl ahead"

हम कैसे समाज का निर्माण कर रहे हैं एक तरफ देवियां पूजते हैं ,नवरात्रौ में व्रत रखते हैं ,उनसे याचना करते हैं सुख समृद्धि की, अपने बेटे के सुख के लिए भी। लेकिन हां,एक लड़की को आगे बढ़ने नहीं देते ,तो मत कीजिए यह दिखावा,मत रखिए व्रत जब उनको एक दर्जा नहीं दे सकते।

How are we building a society, ladies on one side worship, keep a fast in Navratri, plead with them for happiness, prosperity, even for the happiness of our son. But yes, do not allow a girl to move forward, do not pretend it, do not keep fast when you cannot give them a status.

और यह कैसा समाज है जहां अपने बच्चों को डॉक्टर कलेक्टर बनाना चाहते हैं ,हां लेकिन दूसरे की लड़की 18 की  हुई नहीं शादी के लिए रिश्ते बताते हैं। यहां हर लड़की एक न एक बार यह जरूर सोचती है, काश !मैं लड़का होती फिर भी यह समाज कहता हैं हम तो लड़का लड़की में भेदभाव नहीं करते। क्यों यह समाज एक लड़की को अपने पैरों पर खड़ा नहीं होने देता। कहता है लड़की घर पर ही अच्छी लगती है,क्यों।

And what kind of society is this where you want to make your children a doctor, a collector, yes, but not a girl who is 18, tells the relationship for marriage. Every girl here thinks this at once, I wish I was a boy, yet this society says that we boys do not discriminate between girls. Why this society does not allow a girl to stand on her feet. Says the girl looks good at home, why.

क्या लड़की होना अपराध है इससे अच्छा मैं लड़का होती।क्यों मैं कुछ भी गलती करूं, उसमें शादी आ जाती है कि वहां जाकर क्या करेगी। मैं रोना चाहती हूं, चिल्लाना चाहती हूं,सबको बताना चाहती हूं मैं कुछ करना चाहती हूं। क्यों नहीं समझते लोगों कि मैं रोबोट नहीं हूं ,एक इंसान हूं ।क्यों यह समाज हमें हर काम में परफेक्ट बनाना चाहता है, क्यों हमें गलतियां करने का अधिकार नहीं है। क्यों,हम रुठ नहीं सकते क्योंकि ससुराल में बहुत कुछ सुनना पड़ेगा तो आदत डाल लो। क्या हमारे पास दिल नहीं होता , फीलिंग नहीं होती,हमें तकलीफ नहीं होती।कितनी अजीब सी बात है ना। अगर लड़का गलत कामों में पड़ जाए तो कोई नहीं, इसकी बीवी आएगी तो वह संभालेगी, क्यों किसी की बेटी किसी की गलत हरकत झेलने आती है।

Is it a crime to be a girl, I would be a better boy, because if I make a mistake, the marriage comes in what will I do there. I want to cry, I want to shout, I want to tell everyone I want to do something. Why don't people understand that I am not a robot, I am a human being. Why this society wants to make us perfect in everything, why we do not have the right to make mistakes. Why, we cannot get angry because if you have to listen a lot in your in-laws then get used to it. Do we not have heart, do not feel, we do not suffer. It is a strange thing, is it not? If the boy gets involved in wrong deeds, then no one, his wife will come, then he will handle, why someone's daughter comes to face someone's wrong actions.
